The water-repellent Oilskin is waxed cotton, which has been processed with an antique wax. This gives the fabrics a great "used look". With functional properties, it can be the starting material of many bag models designed to withstand wind and weather. You don't have to worry about stains on other textiles, because the dry version has no oil abrasion.
